Kia ora! Do you need legal help?

Our Wellington Office is moving!

We are moving to Level 2, 15 Dixon Street. We will be closed for legal advice from 10-13 July while we settle into our new home. Normal services will resume 14 July. See our poster here  for an image and map of our location.

UPDATE: Level 1 – Open for drop in services again!

Tēnā koutou, we are open for you to receive free legal advice at the drop-in sessions at our city offices. You can find the drop-in schedule here.

We are really happy to welcome you into our offices again, and the safety of you, our staff, and our volunteers is very important to us. Because of COVID-19, we might not be able to see as many clients as usual. We will be seeing clients based on urgency of their issue and legal need and this may mean you’re asked to come back at another time if the session you attend is full. If you have questions about an outreach clinic, please give us a call.

We ask that you stay home if you are unwell, have been overseas recently, or have been in contact with anyone who possibly has COVID-19. If these things apply to you, or you can’t come in to our office for other reasons (such as health, childcare, transport, cost) then you can fill out the form below and check if you qualify to receive legal advice over the phone. This process will be slower than coming into a drop in session, so if you can come to a drop in service, do come to a drop in service.

Please be prepared to practice social distancing, fill out our contact tracing register, use hand sanitiser, and be patient if things take a little longer. You are still welcome to bring a support person, but we ask that you just bring one person if possible.
