Rōia Hapori / Community Lawyer

Kia hiwa rā, kia hiwa rā!  Community Law Wellington and Hutt Valley is looking for the right person to help continue to build community legal services for Māori across the Wellington region.

This role is part of a regional service which aims to embody tikanga Māori values and solutions.

We have an exceptional team of Māori lawyers and community workers who are deeply committed to making a difference. To fit in, you will need to be idealistic and passionate, and also able to work with a broad range of people. You’ll need to embrace the challenge of improving access to justice for Māori, which means being prepared to challenge the status quo.

This role could suit someone with varied legal experience, or a mature and self-motivated graduate. We are primarily interested in your raw skills, your commitment to this kaupapa and your ability to learn.
