You need to be driven and passionate about meeting unmet legal need. Sharp legal skills are a given as you will be working with our other Senior Lawyers, leading a team of up to 5 lawyers of varying levels of experience, and supporting the legal help given by hundreds of volunteers.

You also need to have a strong drive to see us succeed on our bicultural journey and work with the General Manager and the other senior lawyers and managers to help make this happen.

You need to foster the passion of others to contribute to social change, and to work in a collaborative way that supports and develops our legal staff. You need to inspire confidence in others and be prepared to lead by example. You need to be willing to get your hands dirty to get things done, and to bring everyone else along for the ride.

You will have varied legal experience and you must at least meet the requirements to apply to practice on your own account as we can sponsor you through his process if required.
