Volunteer Lawyers – Rōia Kaitūao

Many of our volunteers are practising lawyers and provide the majority of our free legal advice. Our volunteer lawyers come from all fields of law, and many provide advice, through our “general” sessions, on all non-commercial areas of the law. Other volunteer lawyers contribute their specialist knowledge to specific sessions, such as employment or family law.

Please look at the Free Legal Advice section for more information.

Practising Certificates

It is our policy that volunteer lawyers hold a current practising certificate. If you have completed your law degree and professionals but do not hold a current practising certificate get in touch to see what volunteer opportunities we may have.
