Community Law Wellington has been operating in different shapes and configurations since 1981. We expanded into the Hutt Valley in 2012 and became a Te Waka Horua model trust in 2015. We are part of a broader national movement of law centres under the umbrella of Community Law Centres of Aoteaora (CLCA) and we share a common goal of working to meet unmet legal needs in Aotearoa.
Community Law Wellington and Hutt Valley is supported by around 300 volunteers, 30+ staff and all our wonderful sponsors and funders.
