Kaitūao Rōia– Volunteer Lawyers

Our Kaitūao Rōia (volunteer lawyers) come from all fields of law and many provide advice, through our “general” sessions, on all non-commercial areas of the law. Other Kaitūao Rōia contribute their specialist knowledge to specific sessions, such as employment, family, or immigration law. Please look at the Free Legal Advice section for more information about how these drop-in sessions operate.

Practising Certificates: It is our policy that kaitūao rōia (volunteer lawyers) hold a current Practising Certificate. If you have completed your law degree and professionals but do not hold a current practising certificate get in touch to see what volunteer opportunities we may have.

If you would like to volunteer as a Rōia, please read the position description and then complete this form. Any unanswered questions about volunteering can be directed to v.c@wclc.org.nz or give us a call on 04 460 4462.
