We can assist local community groups (non-profits and NGOs) with legal issues. These mainly relate to governance, employment, charitable status, and lease issues. We can assist you in any of our General Advice drop-in sessions, or if you need information immediately, the relevant section of the Community Law Manual may be able to help.
Alex is our Projects Coordinator – Legal Entities and coordinates legal help for community groups. If you need help getting something organised, you can email her at email@example.com.
We can also provide discounted Restorative Justice processes for community groups dealing with workplace conflict. These are run by trained and accredited Facilitators. You can read more about Conflict Resolution at Community Law here, or email Teresa at firstname.lastname@example.org to get the process started.
Community Law would like to acknowledge the support of Wellington City Council in the provision of legal information and services to community groups. Ngā mihi.
